Groundhog Day – Early!

I had my own “groundhog day” yesterday.

My newest bird, Lucky, who is a sun conure, a type of parrot,  is a lively addition to my household.  He brings the count to 3.  In the past I had as many as 4, but then I was still married and had help.

Lucky, as with most conures likes to hang out under my shirt or blouse.  He would like to be friends with my two blue-headed pionus parrots, but they have seniority – and are larger birds.

Since I only have 2 hands I can transport all three with Lucky on my head and the other 2 on my hands, or with one on my shoulder.  Another way is for Lucky to be under my shirt hanging on.

So, yesterday Lucky was under my turtleneck top, Gracie was on my left shoulder, and Sueño was traveling on my right hand as a perch.

Lucky decided to come out and peeked his head out on the left side in the front.  He saw Gracie on the spot he was going to head for, but the better part of valor led him to duck back into my top.  Our own groundhog day.

Since this is Phoenix where the weather is mostly nice this time of year, I’m not sure what this says about the season, but perhaps we’ll have at least 6 weeks more of lovely weather.

Bond with Team Members for Network Marketing Success

My daughter Leila and I just came back from our Success Team Builders cruise.  It was a great week in the Caribbean on the Carnival ship Triumph.  We had a ball.  Not only was this trip a write-off because we also had training, but we were able to bond with team members for network marketing success.

How does that work?  When you get to know your team members, upline, sideline, downline, whevever line, even though you already have met or know them only on phone calls, it boosts you up.  I certainly listened and learned from the folks I was sitting with at dinner.  I’ll feel comfortable about calling any one of them if I need help and will be delighted to assist in return. 

This business is all about relationship-building.  Without relationships it doesn’t work.

Also, being on the cruise is another “event” where I can stay “close to the fire”.

Sometimes we have to color inside the lines for mlm residual income success.

For example, we strive to fill out those little circles on surveys and questionnaires.

We try to stay within the space when completing the arrows on a voting ballot – at least here in Phoenix. Does anyone else use those?

It works if we “stay within the lines” with the Mentoring for Free system. The system works.

My good friend and mentor Michael Dlouhy, author of the free ebook Success in 10 Steps told me once, when I wanted to do this and that, to just get in and “drive the car”. The system was set up. Just use it.

Being a blue personality (see September 6, 2006 in the archives), it has taken me a while to focus on that. I really “got it” on the Success Team Builders cruise. That’s how teammates have success. I crossed another line.

So, I’m “coloring within the lines”.
